NEW WAVE NATURAL WINES & WINEMAKING OF THE BALKANS

Europe is known for its interesting and plentiful wine regions, and once such is the Balkan Peninsula with its rich and ancient history including parts of the historical regions of Mizia, Thrace and Macedonia. Having preserved the traditions inherited in viticulture since the time of the Thracians, there is nowadays a new wave of producers that focus on low intervention, organic and biodynamic practises to make some of the most typical and sustainable wines in the region.

Join us, Efthimis Apostolidi head winemaker of the biodynamic winery Krima Apostolidi from Greece and our good friend Dilyan from The Jolly Merchants on a journey through the viticulture and winemaking of the Balkans.

Arguably one of the last undiscovered corners of the wine world - we look forward to having the opportunity to share their stories and surprise you!
